The thought of establishing an organization dedicated to religious, social, educational, and cultural activities began to take root in 1992. This vision materialized with the public celebration of Durga Puja at the Northern Railway Sevagram Colony in Charbagh, Lucknow. The founder, a Northern Railway Commercial Supervisor, balanced family responsibilities while fulfilling religious, social, educational, and cultural duties.
One night, the founder experienced a divine vision of the Goddess, who conveyed a profound message: “I neither eat nor wear; under my shelter, you and others enjoy life. If you truly wish to worship me, strive to serve the poor, the underprivileged, and students through educational and cultural initiatives.” This dream inspired the establishment and registration of an organization with a heartfelt mission to serve humanity.
In 2001, with the spirit of service to humanity, “Manav Adarsh Sewa Samiti” was registered. The organization aims to connect individuals with positive, constructive mindsets dedicated to the greater good. The acronym MASS represents working among the masses, and the organization’s logo reflects a secular spirit.
